You guys all know how much I love the mountains I grew up 30 minutes from. It’s a lot of love, ok? So whenever I get to shoot on the Beartooth Pass I’m all about it. Brittani + Peter wanted to do their anniversary photos outside Red Lodge, so we headed up the road. Sadly I don’t get to shoot anniversary sessions very often, but boy do I love them! The sun was shining and the snow was trying to melt as we went further up the road to the Wyoming border, where it was closed.
We laughed a lot, these two are truly very funny and I enjoyed hanging out with them so much! They told me about their big plans in life and how they met, we also tried to feed some rodents. We all admired the amazing views on all sides as we shot all over the Beartooth Pass and down into the valley. We walked around Red Lodge afterward and they bought me an ice cream cone, so I guess you could say we are best friends now 😜
I love that having photos often is very important to Brittani and Peter. Like you shouldn’t get your engagement and wedding photos done and then stop till you have a kid! Even I’m extremely guilty of not getting photos done often, and I would love to do better. I mean I take lots of photos, but would LOVE more beautiful photos to hang up! This fall I think I will try to make it happen. So listen up- if your wedding anniversary is coming up, a shoot is an epic way to document this time in your life and the continuation of your love story! 🖤 Bonus points if it’s in the mountains!
