I can finally cross off a Bozeman Montana elopement off my list of dream elopements. Theron and Josiah wanted to elope near Bozeman, but took their time finding just the right place. They emailed me saying they thought they found a place they thought was beautiful. And wow that it was, and it’s just a stunning hike to some half frozen falls near Hyalite Reservoir. As we arrived to the falls there was a man with a dog and lady with a cat on a leash, we waited till they left and Theron and Josiah walked to the water and exchanged vows. The water covering their words so just the two of them could hear. After they wiped away their happy tears we shot around the falls before heading back to the reservoir.
And before I forget, Theron created her crown and bouquet, isn’t that amazing? I loved how wintery her florals were while keeping some lovely colors involved, and I love a good flower crown. Don’t even get me started on her dress I am obsessed. As tea lovers, they wanted to incorporate that into their Bozeman Elopement. Elopements are really all about you as a couple, so when couples have something unique I love getting to document it. They packed along some brewed tea and teacups and shared a cup or two to warm up out in the December snow.
As we headed out of the canyon we spontaneously decided to get a little golden light. We arrived on the other side of Bozeman about 2 minutes too late for golden light, but it didn’t matter because the Bridger’s were still lit by the setting sun. I loved how we were able to get the dramatic skies along with their winter photos before they headed to dinner with their family.
