Oh Butte. This Butte Montana wedding might just show you how cool this town really is! I never imagined that I’d live in Butte, let alone like it. But really it’s actually pretty cool in a lot of ways! First of all, history. And if you don’t know much about the history here I highly recommend learning more about it. Second, it’s a short drive to the mountains. Even more than all of that, some of the best people are here! It started with a surprise proposal which led to a wedding, to this amazing wedding, and more nuptials this weekend, plus three more this year and two in 2020! And every single one of the couples I’ve met have been amazing and I cannot wait for all their weddings in this town!
Anyway, back to this Butte wedding!
Kerry and Ethan are pretty much the coolest. They are both so chill and relaxed, consequently the whole day felt the same! They had a first look overlooking Butte and we ran around the Mountain Con area for their photos and the whole bridal party photos. The ceremony was at the Courthouse…and WHAT?! Everyone surrounded them as they said their I do’s. I loved the closeness feeling of the layout. They lead the honking parade, which I guess is a Butte thing? We all honked our way to the reception. (Not going to lie it was fun laying on the horn just for fun)
Sometimes receptions can all feel somewhat same. First dances, cake, tosses. Therefore when something different happens I love it! In this case, Irish dancing. And I’m sure I wasn’t the only on in the room that was completely in awe. Like HOW are they flying? Anyway every single dance and dancer were amazing and I enjoyed every second!
We did step outside for a few golden sunlight goodness photos before watching everyone dance the night away. It truly was an amazing day from the moment it started, and I’m so glad I was there to capture it all!
