I don’t travel east often, but when I do you can bet it’s for an eastern Montana wedding. I picked up my sister Jade as she was doing a film, and we also picked up Tabby my second shooter for the day. We showed up to the Yellowstone Jewel where they were getting ready, and the property was gorgeous! All the details were so cool and unique! A pair of burgundy converse for the whole bridal party, and a sparkly pink pair for the bride.
We found some shade for the first look, and it was the sweetest. I had not met Alyssa and Alex until this day, but within minutes I could tell it didn’t even matter. They were so natural in front of the camera and just snuggled up and “posed” effortlessly. No awkwardness or stiffness, it was amazing! We ventured around the property with a couple golf carts and finished back at the house with the bridal party photos.
Once at the church, us girls made a game plan for shooting. We all got different angles and it was awesome! I stayed in the balcony for the most part, while Tabby got some fun shots from behind the alter. After an amazing ceremony and a perfect kiss, they made an epic exit with a ton of bubbles and made their way to the reception.
As everyone ate dinner we watched the sun outside. Unfortunately sometimes that golden light we all love so much never happens. But thankfully they were willing to come out after the “sunset” and try some fun stuff with us! Definitely out of my norm but it was so fun! The night ended with some hilarious speeches, cake, and dancing.
Alex + Alysa, you probably didn’t know you were hiring three women who have wayyyy to much fun while working! Thank you for trusting us, you two were so incredible to photograph and I seriously loved being a part of your day!
