You guys…I finally have a Glacier National Park engagement session under my belt! Yay!
Megan probably sent me the longest “tell me about yourselves” on my contact page I’ve ever received. I love all the details guys! She told me about how she met Connor the first day of their freshman year of college. How they represent North and South Dakota, but Megan’s love for Montana is strong. I knew right away they were my kind of people and a date this September was decided on and the wedding was set.
So beings they come to MT about once a year (that’s not enough times a year just saying), we kept in contact for when they’d be here for engagement photos. She asked if I had any places in Montana that I’ve been dying to shoot at…um yes, always. So I gave her a list of places and Glacier was on it, obvi. They had never been, but she told me GNP was already in their plan this trip. So we set the date.
We met up at the Trail of the Cedars trail head and started the shoot. Megan is also a photographer, which made my job way too easy! We all soaked in the forest, mountains, and lake. Spring time is amazing in Montana. So even though the GTTS road was closed and we mainly stuck around Lake McDonald, I kinda really love these photos. I tried some new “poses” as I was super comfortable with Megan and Connor, and I feel like I was creatively inspired by the park. So fun to shoot in new places, looking forward to shooting more in Glacier National Park later this summer!
