Into the Pines Workshop #4 – Sunrise Shoot at the Lake
We woke up early. Like really early. There were heavy clouds out and there was a little drizzle happening, but we all headed down to Clear Lake with plastic bags over our gear. We were there for the sunrise, but the sun never peeked out and I’m not mad about it. The cool blue tones were incredible and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was a pretty chilly morning and I can imagine how cold the water was, but Jozanna and Cody are brave babes. Down to their swimwear, they stuck it out and looked dang good while doing so. While we weren’t able to move around too much for angles, ya know, due to there being a body of water, this was so fun!
These two made are crazy about each other and so in love with life, which you can easily tell by these photos. It was so worth getting up at the crack of dawn to run around on the bank with these two and an amazing group of ladies! We all tried to keep our energy up, though some of us were low key dying of 5am body fatigue. (ok it was probably just me.) When I got back to the hotel, these two were in the hot tub, duh. Everyone else had either went back to bed or was relaxing in their room, but Jo and Cody let me shoot for a couple more minutes from the balcony. They’re so cute so I didn’t mind at all.
Montana folk, PLEASE someone come do a lake session with me! Doesn’t have to be a a sunrise shoot, but come on. Fun floaties, river tubing, boat ride, and lots of splashing…doesn’t it sound fun? Flathead Lake, Cooney, Yellowstone Lake, Delmoe Lake, Dailey Lake…Lets go! 🌊👙💦🏊🏻♀️🚣🏼♀️
