Just another amazing winter engagement session! I have never enjoyed winter shoots as much as I have this year. I’m slightly obsessed with all the hats, coats, snowy trees, cold hands and cuddles. I always have some hot coffee, an electric hand warmer, and often times just leave my truck running between locations so my couples can warm right up! The BEST part is when it snows while we are shooting, talk about photo gold!
This is Will and Kassidy. Will is my brother in law and he found this babe while mining down in Colorado. She fell head over heels and moved up here to be with him. We all love her and she is the sweetest human! I have told Will to make sure to let me photograph his proposal, but alas, he went for a sweet, just the two of them, super special proposal instead. But they did ask me to shoot their wedding! And guess what?! It’s in Colorado and I cannot wait! Mountain ceremony, jeeping, seeing all my husband’s Colorado family…I can’t wait!
We did their engagement shoot in the Beartooths and had so much fun! She obviously has some serious stye, and trust me, it was cold as balls out. Along with enduring the cold, they walked out onto the ice and as you can see, bravery. Pard (their dog) had tons of fun running around and rested his head on my lap on the way down the road. Also yes, the Jeep is Kassidy’s, cause she’s badass like that. Sometimes I get nervous shooting with family, but these two were so easy to shoot and we all had so much fun!
So I hope you enjoy winter engagement sessions as much as I do, because there’s quite a few more blog posts coming your way! ❄️
